Encounter Teen Camp
Encounter Teen Camps exists to support local churches in their effort to reach lost students in their community and to raise up a generation of teenagers who have an authentic walk with God and who actively share their faith. Throughout the week of camp, there is a high priority on Scripture, relevant worship, relationships within the local church, and providing opportunities for students and sponsors to sharpen their skills and prepare to consistently serve God after camp.

Daniel Sweet
Daniel Sweet has served as pastor of Calvary Church in Norman OK since September of 2012. Previously, he has served in Woodward, Pryor, & Catoosa, OK. He has been married to his wife Jamie since 2002, and they have four children. Lukas, Karis, Selah, & Zoe. Daniel & Jamie adopted Luke when he was 10 months old from Vietnam. Karis was born in Tulsa and they adopted her as a newborn. They affectionately refer to Selah & Zoe as the “homegrown kiddos.”
Brad Merser
I’m a new father to my son Barrett and husband to my best friend Madison. Together my wife and I serve as IM missionaries to international students at Mizzou! I’m passionate about welcoming students from around the world and walking with them in life, faith, and pointing them to Jesus. Outside of ministry, I love basketball, sushi, and working out!
Worship Leader
Chris Hooper
Chris is the Worship Pastor at the Donelson Fellowship Church in Nashville Tennessee. Chris and his team ministered to us last year at Encounter Camp so well we just had to run it back!
Dates and Rates
Encounter Camps are at Talihina, OK at the Kiamichi Baptist Assembly campground.
Teen camps are for students grades 6th through 12th (grade just completed).

If you have any questions about any of the following forms please email Tyler Dezort at tylerdezort.tgc@gmail.com Please make sure each person going to camp fills out the Student Registration Form and the KBA - Ropes Course, Archery, Canoeing Form. We will not need these
forms until the day of camp. Make sure you send the Church Registration Form below with your deposit.
